From NY, Vermont

From New Jersey, New York City

Get on the NY State Thruway, I - 87. In New York City, I - 87 is called the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx. Follow the Thruway to Albany. YOU MUST GET OFF AT EXIT 24 ALBANY, because after this the New York State Thruway becomes I - 90 and turns west towards Buffalo. Then get on the Adirondack Northway, I - 87, right after the toll barrier. Follow the Adirondack Northway, I - 87 north to Lewis, Essex, Exit 32, milepost 123. Turn left on CR 12, go 2 miles then turn right on US 9 and go 3 miles north on US 9. The Magic Pines Family Campground is on the right hand side of the road, just past the Lewis Upstone Material Quarry. If you go past Deerhead-Reber Road, or CR 14, you've passed us.

From Albany, Saratoga, all points south

Follow the Adirondack Northway, I - 87 north to Lewis, Exit 32, milepost 123.Turn left on CR 12, go 2 miles then turn right on US 9 and go 3 miles north on US 9. The Magic Pines Family Campground is on the right hand side of the road. If you go past Deerhead-Reber Road, or CR 14, you've passed us.

From the North Via Adirondack Northway

Follow the Adirondack Northway, I - 87 south to Lewis, Willsboro, Exit 33, milepost 135. Turn left at the end of the exit and go out to the light at US 9, NY 22. Then turn right on US 9, go about 9 miles south. You will cross under the Northway then pass the old Poke-O-Moonshine state campgrounds and access to the climbing cliffs. Magic Pines Family Campground is on the left hand side of the road just past the Deerhead-Reber Road, CR 14.

From the South Eastern Vermont, Rutland

Follow US 4 south/west from Rutland till you get to NY Route 149 in Fort Ann New York.. Take a right on NY 149 and follow that to US 9, just south of Lake George. Take a right on US 9 and follow US 9 north for about a 4 miles north to Exit 21 at NY 9N. Get on the Northway there and head north about 70 miles to Exit 32. Turn left on CR 12, go 2 miles then turn right on US 9 and go 3 miles north on US 9. The Magic Pines Family Campground is on the right hand side of the road. From the Middle Vermont, Ticonderoga

Take the ferry over to Ticonderoga. Follow Route 74 west from the ferry landing all the way up the large hill to the flashing red light at US 9 in Schroon Lake, about 20 miles. Get on the Northway and go to Exit 32, about 30 miles north. Turn left on CR 12, go 2 miles then turn right on US 9 and go 3 miles north on US 9. The Magic Pines Family Campground is on the right hand side of the road. If you go past Deerhead-Reber Road, or CR 14, you've passed us. So turn around.

From the Northern Vermont, Burlington

The best shortest way is to take the ferry to Essex, NY. From Essex follow CR 12, Stowerville Road, west all the way to US 9 in Lewis. Just follow the signs to I-87. You will go over the Northway by the diner and the county jail. Then you will climb a hill for about a mile till you get to US 9 in Lewis. Turn right on US 9 and go 3 miles north on US 9. The Magic Pines Family Campground is on the right hand side of the road past the quarry. If you go past Deerhead-Reber Road, or CR 14, you've passed us

From Meadowmount School of Music Camp

Turn left and go west on CR 10 until you come to US 9 in Lewis, by the post office. Turn right and go north about 3 miles. We are just past the quarry..

From Quebec

Take PQ 15 south from Montreal to the US border. Now you are on the Northway. Follow the Adirondack Northway, I - 87 south to Willsboro, Exit 33, milepost 135. Cross into the US on the Massena Cornwall Bridge in Massena. Follow NY 37 south to Malone. In Malone, take US 11, the main street east. In about 20 miles you will come to NY 190, which will take you southeast to Plattsburgh. Go to Route 3, Cornelia Street, and follow it east towards downtown Plattsburgh and Exit 37 of the Northway. Go south on I-87 to Exit 33, milepost 135. Turn left at the end of the exit and go out to the light at US 9, NY 22. Then turn right on US 9, go about 6 miles south. You will cross under the Northway then pass the old Poke-O-Moonshine state campgrounds and cliffside.
